PORTWORTHY PROJECT

The Portworthy array has been operating since December 2015, distributing clean energy to more than 1300 typical households. Built on a brownfield land once filled with old china clay works, the 4.3 MW array gave the area a more modern vibe: practical and industrialized.
Because they require no fuel, wind farms have less impact on the environment than many other forms of power generation.
