Toyota Boshoku group, one of the world’s premium interior systems suppliers and filter manufacturers, develops and produces interior components, unit components. The main office, Toyota Boshoku Corporation is based in Kariya City, Japan. Its wholly owned subsidiary, Toyota Boshoku Asia (TBAS), and its affiliates employ over 11,000 team members in about 20 locations throughout Thailand, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Vietnam, Australia, Laos and Pakistan. TBAS group is a premier manufacturer of automotive interior systems, which include seats, door trims, headliners, substrate, and carpet in addition to air and oil filters for a variety of customers. In Vietnam, TOYOTA BOSHOKU HANOI CO., LTD. was established in August 1996 located in Vinh Phuc province. Their main business focuses on manufacture and sales of seats and interior components. Toyota Boshoku Hanoi collaborated with Shire Oak International to install a 1,471 MWp system on the roofs of their factories. The system was completed in Dec 2021 and is expected to produce about 1,581 kilowatt hours and reduce carbon emissions by 1,554 tonnes annually.
