On September 16, 2020, The British Chamber of Commerce Vietnam hosted a webinar on “Renewable Energy: Investment opportunities in Vietnam”. The event was joined by many investors, developers, UK companies in SE Asia, and Vietnam-based companies who are interested in the sector.

During the first half of the webinar, local experts in the Renewable Energy industry will provide an update of Vietnam’s economy and a guide to investment in Renewable Energy via which attendees will be able to gain a deep insight into the country’s industry. This solid foundation will help keen investors adopt an appropriate approach to pitches by local developers presented in the second half of the webinar.   

As one of the pitchers, Mr. Mike Edge, SOI’s Head of Finance, guided viewers through the solar development scene in Vietnam. He also presented SOI’s unique business model which is appealing to businesses and yields a lot in return.
