Environmental Safeguards
We at Shire Oak International are acutely aware of the fact that large-scale infrastructure projects can impact on communities and the environment. Our commitment is to ‘do no harm’. In this regard, the company has incorporated environmental and social safeguards into our project design and implementation that are in-line with the highest international standards.
Community Support
For every project, community members will be at the core of our delivery model and will be empowered to identify the improvements they need in their areas. We will allocate money to these funds every year that we are operating a lease contract in a community, corresponding to our installed capacity. Each fund will be managed by local and community representatives and organisations.
