Hai Phong city, April 22nd 2022, from 9 am to 11 am on April 20th 2022, at Shinec Joint Stock Company, Shinec and Shire Oak International signed the cooperation Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly create a modern industry fueled by renewable energy, and accelerate the sustainable development of the industry. The two partners will advocate the cooperation to build and form the 4th symbiotic link, the symbiotic link of green and renewable energy in the eco-industrial park model applying the circular economy model that Shinec is pioneering in building in Nam Cau Kien Industrial Park. In the future, Shinec will replicate this model for the other industrial parks and clusters, aiming at sustainable economic development, reducing carbon emissions in line with the orientation and carbon neutralization in Vietnam by 2050.
Witnessing the MoU signing ceremony, there were Mr. Ho Phuoc Thanh, Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee, Ms. Ayun Hbut – Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People’s Council, as well as partners and customers of Nam Cau Kien Industrial Park.

Sharing about the cooperation relationship with Shire Oak International, Mr. Nguyen Anh Minh, Deputy General Director, Chief Financial Officer of Shinec Joint Stock Company said: “Today’s signing ceremony is the result of the intersection in visions between our two partners, wanting to develop in a sustainable direction.
In order to deploy the 4th symbiotic link, the symbiotic link of green and renewable energy in the eco-industrial park model, Shinec has always been looking for the world’s leading partners having adequate experience and potential to cooperate. For rooftop solar power partners, we are setting certain criteria for the partner: Offering uniform service quality – we are looking for a partner that can develop all rooftop solar projects with uniform quality, ensuring maximum power production productivity, complying with the legal corridor, developing sustainably – we are looking for a partner taking into account all factors, from social security, environment, natural resources, to labor, etc, respecting the environment and natural resources – we set requirements for handling waste management when developing rooftop solar systems and taking into account the solar photovoltaic panel treatment.
Shinec and Shire Oak International will not only cooperate in developing and generating electricity from rooftop solar projects but also invest in energy storage systems to perform during off-peak hours, renovate electrical power transmission systems between the grid and renewable energy systems to gradually increase the share of renewable energy to 100%.”
