HCMC, On April 25th at ING Textile factory (Binh Phuoc province, Vietnam) a Power Purchase Agreement was signed successfully between Shire Oak International and ING Textile.
Witnessing the signing ceremony were Mr. Gorden Lee (Lee Kuo Liang), General Manager and Legal Representative of ING Textile, Mr. Miguel A. Ferrer, Managing Director, Ms. Mai Hoa, Sales Director, Mr. An Vo, Sales Director, and Mr. Son Bui, Head of Marketing & PR of Shire Oak International.
Accordingly, Shire Oak International will invest in and install a rooftop solar system of 0.6 MWp on the roof of the ING Textile factory.
Commenting on the collaboration of the two partners, Mr. Miguel A. Ferrer, Shire Oak International stated: “Partnering with companies to transition to renewable energy is Shire Oak International’s motivation. By offering you a free-of-charge rooftop solar system, Shire Oak International is contributing to boosting your brand attribute among clients of a socially responsible company with a focus on using green energy. This aligns with the President’s commitment at COP26 to achieve the net-zero carbon emission target by 2030.
We are delighted to be here at ING Textile production unit and helping you to put the first step on the renewable energy path. We hope the first rooftop solar project will be a success and expanded to another production unit in the near future.”
By transitioning to green energy, companies also have opportunities to earn carbon credits and achieve certain certifications such as Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) and International Renewable Energy Certificates (IRECs).
